A living room framed by wooden beams and stone walls, where light moves slowly across textured surfaces. These vernacular materials do more than shape the atmosphere: they keep the space naturally cool in summer and hold warmth in winter, with underfloor heating adding further comfort in the colder months. The living-room connects to an inner lemon-tree patio, bringing brightness into the centre of the house. The main living spaces extend naturally toward the terrace, pool and horizon.

Living, interior detail
Detail, an open weathered wooden door opening onto a sunlit stone courtyard

Old Italian doors were restored and rehung, carrying weight and memory in the way they open.

Detail, hanging amber and green stained-glass lanterns before ceramic niches
Detail, daybed with embroidered tasselled cushion and abstract painting
