Villa Storia

Where Storia Gallery began

Villa Storia was shaped by a life of Mediterranean landscapes and encounters. Emma, French with Sicilian roots, and her husband Jérémy, French with Egyptian and Greek heritage, have long been drawn to objects that carry a sense of place: pieces shaped by craftsmanship, natural textures and the memory of a landscape.

Storia Gallery took shape in 2017, during a journey through Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains, where encounters with artisans and women's cooperatives left a lasting impression on them. They were moved not only by the beauty of the pieces, but by the heritage, skill and human stories they carried. What began there became a curatorial project rooted in handwoven rugs, lanterns, ceramics and objects inspired by desert architecture, created to share these pieces more widely, and to help generate lasting income for the artisans and makers behind them.
